About the Role
Teaching classes in a fun and innovative way.
Teaching a diverse variety of classes such as
• Phonics
• Cambridge
• P1 interview preparation
• S1 interview preparation
• Grammar
• Reading
• Creative writing
Making assessments and writing student term reports.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Linguistics, Education, Foreign Language)
· Native or near-native fluency in the language(s) being taught
· Certification in language teaching (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA)
· Minimum of 6 years of experience teaching English to non-native speakers
· Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners
· Passionate in teaching young children from age 3-17
· Teaching experience with local students in an ESL environment
· Experience in Cambridge English and phonics
· Previous teaching experience related to the Hong Kong English DSE examinations a plus.
· Familiarity with current language teaching methodologies and technology tools
· Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate students' availability
· Ability to work effectively in a remote, online environment
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to teach across all levels in small group and 1 on 1 private tutoring.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Education
• IBDP experience for teachers teaching IBDP courses
• SIOP trained
